It’s been quite some times now since the last time I posted something on this blog. Why? I couldn’t find any interesting topic to share with you all but for my randomness blog, I could find something lame to discuss with you all. Sorry for that. If only I been more active, then you all should be able to receive more blog post from this blog. I try my best later on to make this blog more activated.

Anyway, yesterday I went to watch Cloudy with a Chance of Meatball. This movie is based on a story book with the same name. The movie is about a young scientist by the name of Flint Lockwood who wanted to be known as a famous dude in the world just like those freaks – Albert Einstein, Pythagoras and others.

During his school time, he invented a object that in the future, we no longer needed to tie our shoe anymore. That invention with the name of “Spray-on Shoe” was forever stay on the foot of Flint Lockwood for the rest of his life. As he grow older, he used his dad, Tim as a white mice. He even created a communication device where his pet monkey, Steve now can actually communicate with Flint.

They live in a small island just below the A on the Atlantic where their production/income are from sardine. Due to certain reasons, the sardine is now consider suck for life. Flint come out with an idea of FLDSMDFR (Flint Lockwood Diatonic Super Mutating Dynamic Food Replicator) where it uses water to create food. The experiment come to a failure when the power wasn’t enough to support the experiment.

The mayor announce that he is considering a reformation to the Swallow Falls. Just as the mayor about to go official with the new reformation, Flint sneak into the power plant to get extra energy for his experiment to work. The experiment went crazy right after the power is supply to the the invention. The invention flew away to the cloud. At the same time, Sam Spark from New York flew all the way to Swallow Fall to report on the weather. But she ended up failed to report after a disruption from Flint and his invention.

Not longer after, the cloud start to change and food start to fall. Everyday with different varieties of foods. The mayor uses this experiment for his own good and to ensure income coming back to him. Because too much work for the FLDSMDFR, the system overload and turn into a monster. :)

Flint and Sam decided to stop his mess once and for all. Flint created a killer bot to destroy it but it turn out to be a funny video clip. He then realized his first ever invention “Spray-on Shoe” turn out to be a successful experiment after all. He spray on the FLDSMDFR to make it explode and everything is back to normal.

Overall the money wasn’t that funny to me. Not to say it wasn’t funny but it just wasn’t able to make me laugh throughout the whole 1 hour and 30 minutes. Nothing much for me to review anyway and here is my last verdict: 6 out of 10.

Alright, as reported on newspaper that there will be a 15 short film. This film is not only about socio-political issue in Malaysia, at the same time feature some of the top Malaysia faces. Trust me, it going to be a very interesting to look at it. Why? It’s about our country and whatever that is happening in the past and the present.

1. Potong Saga – Ho Yuhang

Before preview this short film, Potong Saga reminds me of a joke I used to read on my inbox few years back under the same title. Storyline have a little bit of similarities but it definitely better than reading the lame jokes. This film mainly about Namewee. The man who sings Negarakuku, Negarakukuku, Kawanku and others which insulted the Malaysian. But forget about what he sings, he’s back and ready to start a new life back here in Malaysia by opening a bank account. Watch it, you will know what I mean.

2. Chocolate – Yasmin Ahmad

A film directed by our very late Yasmin Ahmad who has just passed away recently. One of the best director in Malaysia and remember those movie she has done such as Sepet, Talentime, Mukshin and others. She done it again. 3 minutes is more than enough to let us realised of who we are today. :)

3. The Tree – Amir Muhammad

Well, this film is mainly target to the people who believes in God and a lesson for those who is not following according the the God’s law. Everyone needs to survive in this land with money. But what if you died one day and the money you earn is worthless in the after life? You need to perform more good deeds. That’s the message. Do more good deeds while you were still living. :)

When you see this tagline, you definitely know where it come from. Yes. G.I. Joe. Today, I went to watch the movie all by myself. With no friends and family. Only strangers is sitting right beside me. Funny thing is most people that watch the movie is alone. Not many couple were there or even a group of friends decided to hang out at the cinema. I assume most of them were just only college student who decided to have a break and go catch a movie.

If you were wondering who is who on the movie or you simply have no idea who is who. Let me do the speaking here. From clockwise: Storm Shadow, Baroness, Neo Viper, Cobra Commander, Snake Eye, Duke, Scarlett and Ripcord.

Overall, the movie is trimmed well and nice fighting scene. Besides, a cool CGI effect on the movie. Most of you may have watched the trailer, maybe you know it. The Eiffel Tower felt down after some incident. The sound effect was definitely great. No doubt about it. And the jokes from Marlon Wayans was definitely must watch.

Firstly, I have no idea what this movie is all about. Reason to it is because I didn’t watch any of the animated series. Not sure whether Malaysia got show the series before or not. As far as I know, I don’t seen one of the series in television. So, let’s begin the review. Shall we?

So, the story begins long time ago. Maybe few hundreds year back, where we haven’t born into this world. So, Mc Cullen was a traitor to the country for selling the weapon to the enemy and Lord Louis XIII. Because of that, he was forever been masked with a steel mask. From there, he was been named as a Destro.

Back to future, where the Mc Cullen’s descendent – James Mc Cullen succeed the weapon design and selling it to the NATO. He created a nanotechnology with his research in MARS that it can destroy the whole city. NATO decided to buy the weapon from MARS. Duke and Ripcord was assigned to send it to the NATO safely. On the route, they was attacked by the Cobra in which leaded by Baroness aka Ana Lewis aka Duke’s ex-fiancée which casted by Sienna Miller. Hot chick coming along in this movie. Follow with it, is the appearance of the Joe’s to rescue Duke and Ripcord and protect the weapon/warhead. Heavy Duty, Scarlett, Snake Eye and Breaker was there to prevent the warhead from being stolen by the Cobra.

The Joe’s bring along Duke and Ripcord to the Pit in the middle of Egypt, if that I am not mistaken because I assume that after I saw they flew passed the Pyramid of Giza. Mc Cullen is being called and appear on a hologram form to ensure that the warhead is safe and sound. The truth is Mc Cullen is activating a tracking device for the Cobra to hunt it back from the Joe’s.

Just my assumption. Maybe I am right, maybe I am wrong...

Duke and Ripcord decided to stay with the Joe’s because they think they are one of a kind. As far as the movie goes, all the member of the Joe’s are the best of the best in the world and one of a kind style. For example, Snake Eye is talented with the ninja skill, Breaker is the geek in the team, Scarlett is the most intelligent in the team and so on. Duke and Ripcord undergo a intensive training to qualify being a Joe’s. Well, they passed with a flying color and top of the list with the highest in the Joe’s. Both of them will be wearing the Delta 6 Accelerator when there is a mission.

“Evil never look so good”. Quite a nice tagline for the Cobra. Well, I have to agree with it because of Sienna Miller acting as the Baroness. She is hot. I think she is much more hotter than Megan Fox. Sorry, Megan Fox’s fan out there. Just look at the poster, look how hot she is. Anyway, this is not a popularity contest. Besides, the Storm Shadow aka half-brother to Snake Eye is quite awesome with the skill of the shuriken flying around.

Alright, enough craps. Let’s move on. So, the two Cobra’s I just mentioned decided to attack the base camp of the Joe’s and to take back warhead. The Cobra finally retrieved the warhead after destroy a certain part of the base and head to Paris to look for Ana’s husband who was a researcher in particle acceleration. He was forced to activate the warhead and begin the plan to takeover the world.

If you were the Cobra’s, what will leave the Frenchmen in jeopardy and will remember it forever? Just like 9/11 in USA, World Trade Centre is the most memorable thing for the US. So, what do you think it will be for the France? Cheese? Napoleon? Eiffel Tower. I assumed most of you have watched the trailer and the answer definitely will be the Eiffel Tower.

The Joe’s were unable to stop the Cobra from destroying the Eiffel Tower. Cool CGI effect and credit to them very much. And besides, here is where Marlon Wayans have most lame joke ever for the movie. I mean in the France’s scene. Can’t tell much about the jokes. But you definitely must watch it and laugh it out loud. After the destruction of the Eiffel Tower, the Joe’s were arrested by the Anti Terrorist of France and were later bailed out by their Commander, General Hawk. They were ordered to return to the base camp.

Later, Breaker was able to track them down on their location. The Joe’s planned to attack the base camp of Mc Cullen under the Arctic. Meanwhile, Duke was captured by the Cobra’s before that in France. Mc Cullen ordered the Cobra Commander to launch the other three warhead to three separate location – Beijing, Moscow and Washington. After the launch of the warhead, the first one which headed to Beijing easily been destroyed. This show how much they like Beijing.

Ripcord was the expert with Air Force. So, Mc Cullen left the Night Raven at the cave. Ripcord control the Night Raven to track down and destroy the remaining warheads. The rest of the Joe’s are looking for a path to enter the MARS camp. While, Heavy Duty leads the navy squad and attack from outside the MARS camp.

Just so you know, this is the Night Raven.

Baroness started to remember back about Duke and herself during the romantic times. Well, Cobra Commander tried to insert the nano-mites inside the body of Duke, he revealed himself as Rex Lewis aka Baroness’s brother. So, I assume this whole movie is just another revenge plot and also to destroy the world. Duke blame himself for not being able to protect Ana’s brother, Rex after he swore to protect Rex from any harm during the proposal. End up, Rex didn’t die and he turn his own sister into a bad ass.

“When everything fails, they don’t”. Certainly this tagline say it all. Enemy were down and out. The victory belongs to the Joe’s. But I assume they will return with a new sequel to it. Why?

Destro aka James Mc Cullen and Rex Lewis was captured and seal inside a cubicle. There might be an escaped plan for them by the other member of the Cobra.
If you watched the movie, before the end of the show – the President of USA was a fake one after Rex Lewis had him transfiguration. The real one? Died.

Guess what’s the ending song? By Black Eyed Peas from The E.N.D – Boom Boom Pow in a remix version. Well, that’s was before I leave the hall. Is a good recommendation for those of you who disappointed with Transformers 2. My rating for this movie was 3.5 out of 5. Worth its gold people. And Sienna Miller is hot!!!

Zam Zam Harry Potter Kazam!!!

It’s been two years since the last film of Harry Potter was shown on the silver screen. Yesterday, I watched the sixth installment in Times Square. What a massive queue at the counter and the administration workers have to repeat the announcement over and over again. What announcement? “All movie is fully booked till midnight. You can wait if you want if the reservation tickets is uncollected.” First time I see such things happen when all movie is fully booked until midnight. The only available time slot.

So, here’s are some of the question that I have think about it for a long time after the movie ended.

1. Where’s Bill Weasley and Fleur Delacour?

This two should be appearing in this book. I am missing Fleur Delacour. Well, from what I have research for the past 3 hours, they won’t be appearing in this movie but will appear on the final book. Why? I thought we could be seeing some romantics and love that is unbreakable in the movie. Anyway, we got Harry and Ginny, so we don’t really need Bill and Fleur.

2. Who’s Half Blood Prince? Why is he the Half Blood Prince?

The mystery has yet go through another twist. Severus Snape was the man with high knowledge of potion. The only man who deserve to be called Half Blood Prince. His book was founded by Harry and used it inside the class of Prof. Slughorn. But why does he named as Half Blood Prince. They never mention it. Since they been doing the show for two and a half hour, why not drag a bit longer. Just to let Potter know why?

3. Who’s the new Principal of Hogwarts?

Needless to say, after the death of Albus Dumbledore, the only one teacher who could replace him was only Prof. McGonagall. If you have read all the books, maybe just the last two installment, you would see that Prof. McGonagall been promoted to become Headmistress of Hogwarts.

4. Who’s R.A.B?

Who’s is this R.A.B? The man/woman who has steal the real Horcrux? If you think back in the movie, R.A.B was mention once during the visit to Prof. Slughorn’s house. The family photo of the Black family. Yes, you get it now. R.AB stands for Regulus Arcturus Black (R.A.B). The younger brother of deceased Sirius Black. It will be mention on who was R.A.B in the final installment of the series.

Well, that’s all from me. It’s been awhile since I updated this blog. So, what do you think about this installment of the Harry Potter’s saga?

For me, the movie is just reach my expectation and it’s worth to watch for everyone that hasn’t read the book yet. But do consider this, please watch the first five installment before you watch this one. Or else you won’t know what is happening and end up getting fed up with the movie and criticize is so badly.

Sun Down, Wax Come Alive

[Spoiler Ahead]

If you have watched the first movie “Night at the Museum”, you definitely will know how this wax historical character come to alive at the night. So, this time around, this is a sequel to what happen to the museum after Larry Daley (Ben Stiller) leave the job as a night guard to become a multi corporation business which sell only Larry’s invention. Every night, he will be at the museum to have some chat with his old friends.

“I have come back” said Kah Mun Rah

Until one day, when he come over to the museum to have some chat with his old friends, he soon found out that some of the friends is no longer needed in the museum and shall be sent to the Federal Archives at the Smithsonian Institution. Some of them will be remained in the museum such as Teddy Roosevelt (Robin Williams), Rexy the Rex, Easter Island Head, and Akhmenrah (Rami Malek) are not moving to the new home.

The next day, the rest of his friends were being moved out and transfer to the Federal Archives. On the same day, Jedediah (Owen Wilson) give a call to Larry telling him that Dexter the Capuchin has stolen the tablet of Akhmenrah and bring it together to the Archives. What happen there was, Akhmenrah’s brother, Kah Mun Rah ( has come to alive under the curse of the tablet. Larry immediately go to investigate the incident at the Archives.

At the archives, he try to search the entrance to the underground storage. Until he meet a day guard that spell his name on the tag as Brandon but pronounce as Brundun (Jonah Hill). So, after so small debate, Larry able to steal the guard’s ID and move to lower ground. At there, he meet some of the other wax historical character. As he move on, he found the rest of his friends that was surrounded by Kah Mun Rah and his army. He use one of the army’s spears to reach the tablet. And he did obtained back the tablet but the time is over as night rise. So, he had a face off with Kah Mun Rah and he definitely able to con Kah Mun Rah with a Rubix Cube. His first help was come from the Octopus. As Larry run away with the tablet, he get an aid from General George Armstrong Custer (Bill Hader) but it was a failure when Gen. Custer got hit on the head. Soon, Larry once again was jumped to aid by Amelia Earhart.

He and Amelia move to above ground trying to get away from the Kah Mun Rah’s army. Then, he discovered that picture on the frame could come alive as well. Until a desperate point, He and Amelia jumped in to a picture that is black and white that they are currently celebrating after winning the war. The army also jumped into the picture. Soon, Nick finally able to reach his dad and bump into a sailor named Joey. Larry accidentally drop his phone in the picture and jumped back out to the real world. While at the same time at the underground, Kah Mun Rah recruited three of the top villain Al Capone, Ivan the Terrible and Napoleon Bonaparte. The three army was send out to search Larry and his tablet while at the same time, Custer was locked up together with the rest of Larry’s friend. Jedediah and Octavius try to escape under the guard of Al Capone’s minnow.

Octavius was able to escape out of the danger but Jedediah got caught and put inside a bird cage. While, Amelia and Larry try to run away from Kah Mun Rah’s army, he was caught by Napoleon. Larry was given a period of one hour to crack the code. So off they go to crack the code. The first people they think to ask was the Thinker. But he was rather stalking a hot chick statue that was in front of him. So, Larry remember that he seen Albert Einstein bobble head. Off they go to the Space Museum. But along the way, they were stop by the Kah Mun Rah’s army as he thought that they are leaving with the tablet. So, they have to bumped to the Abraham Lincoln. With the aid of Abraham Lincoln, they safely get into the Space Museum and search for Albert Einstein.

After crack the code, they fly back to the Museum to rescue Jedediah. With the help of the rest of the member, they finally send the Kah Mun Rah back into the underworld. (Complicated story). So, all the Larry’s friends was sent back to the ex-museum and the ending was Larry sold his company to aid the museum and reveal so-called Animatronics to all the patrons.

They thought it was animatronics sucks. But it was freaking real.

So, here is some points I wanted to speak out.

Rebecca Hutman vs. Amelia Earhart

So, what happen to the ex-lover of Larry Daley? We thought it was suppose to be Larry Daley new lover after broke up with his wife. So, now he fall for a wax instead? I didn’t see any kissing scene between the two (Larry and Rebecca) but I see twice or more for the Amelia and Larry.

All I could see from the movie was only their minnows to attack. And why wouldn’t Kah Mun Rah recruit Darth Vader. It would be more nicer. Although, Kah Mun Rah said that he is asthma fellow. Then, we might be seeing Jedi in action as well. Never mind, it’s too late now.

Will there be any third sequel to it?

Well, since the movie is so funny, how could you let the fun stop now? Hope there would be third sequel. And hope this time around, Larry finally have his own family which have a wife. So, who’s going to be the villain then? Maybe a betrayal story. That might be nice as well.

McDonald Made With High Cost

It’s almost around few months I have not tried the Mc Donald’s Mc Flurry. Previously, I love this McD’s originals – Mc Flurry. Although I feel that the price is very expensive and do not even worth it but anyway I still take it because the taste was seriously nice and I could take more than 15 minutes to enjoy it. But, something has happen. Yesterday, I was together with my friends on an outing in Genting Highlands. This is the first time going there since 7 or 8 years ago. Nothing much have change in Genting Highlands. Weather are not really that cool but you could feel the breeze there. Alright, back to the McD. So, we had our lunch there but Lunch for 5.95 onwards wasn’t available in Genting Highlands. So, I just get myself my favorite ala carte burger – Spicy Chicken Mc Deluxe and a Mc Flurry. When I get the food, I noticed something has change on the Mc Flurry. New Appearance? New Design? Well, it just got smaller and the price were the same in Kuala Lumpur if not mistaken. But in Genting Highlands, the price were slightly higher and guess what, Mc Flurry cost RM6.30 here.

When we discussed back in our seats about the Mc Flurry, they said it suppose to reduce the price since the size is reducing. But nothing have change. If you have tried in KL and similar case happen, then you must take up your right as a consumer. I am not persuading you to try to complain them. Just feel that it doesn’t suppose to worth the same price as the original size we used to enjoy. Here is some picture taken to show we are not lying and not doing any photo edit on it.

[Review] Sniper

Warning: There might be spoiler ahead

Dante Lam has bring back the former Hong Kong singer, Edison Chen back to the filming world and to boost back and win back the love from the audience and as well to raise Edison Chen confident after the sexual scandal that was spread throughout the Internet last year. I have no idea why to bring him back to the Hong Kong. He has become Hong Kong most hated guy and he was suppose to return to the States and should never return. But in anyway, he did return and this time around, he is the main character of this storyline together with the two other fellow cast - Richie Ren and Huang Xiaoming.

This movie revolves around the Sniper Squad and the best in the team. Hartman (Richie Ren) and Lincoln (Huang Xiaoming) are the two best sniper and shooter in the squad. They were always in the fight to show who’s the best among the squad in the Shooting Competition. Lincoln was named as the best shooter because of his precision and accuracy are very high and no one shoot further away than he did. The best that he could achieve was the record of the entire competition, 500m shooting. Hartman come out short from this where he could only did his best at 400m. Meanwhile, OJ (Edison Chen) was the newest shooter to join in the squad. He was allowed to join this squad because he is fully with confidence and his accuracy was nearly the same heights with Lincoln.

So, why did Lincoln turn back on his ex-squad member and especially Hartman? During one scenario, where three criminals was threaten to kill the Banker’s son if the money and car to leave from the place has not arrive on time. Lincoln and Shane (Bowie Lam) was in a group while Hartman was with another guy. Both Shane and the unknown guy was the spotter where they see any chance for the sniper to take a shot at the criminals. During once scene, where the criminals decided to pluck out the trigger, Lincoln see there is a chance to take a shot. He shot out without any command from his supervisor and it doesn’t not hit the criminal but instead hitting the Banker’s son.

Later, Lincoln was put on an investigation on that shot. He insisted that he saw there is an opening but the rest of the squad denied that they see a chance was there. Lincoln was then sentences to jail for four years for killing not on purpose. Four years later, Lincoln was released from the jail and the only thing that is in his mind was to kill the criminal and pay his revenge on Hartman. Lincoln was helping in far from the sight to save the criminal. The main purpose out of it was very simple, to kill him with his accuracy this time around.

The criminal was later shot to death by Lincoln. It was later a battle between the top two shooter in the squad. Lincoln against Hartman. Hartman was ordered by his Chief to settle and catch Lincoln and preventing him from bombing a car. In a garage that is full of disposable car, Lincoln is hiding somewhere to prevent himself from being seen by the squad. Then, he begin to shoot all his comrades, and left OJ, Hartman and another comrade. Hartman spotted Lincoln and both shoot at the same time. Both was injured but Hartman takes more than Lincoln did. So down to two. The other comrade rush for Lincoln but then he was shot at the leg. He was injured as well. And this means an one-on-one contest between the OJ and Lincoln.

Hartman decided to risk his life and distract Lincoln so that OJ could take the shot. Finally both Hartman and Lincoln was dead along side would be Shane who was killed earlier after being kidnapped by Lincoln and was shoot to death. That’s the end of the story.

Edison Chen has not many scene in the movie and the main target of this film was only on the two top sniper. Along with that, Edison Chen still not really acceptable just yet but the Hongkies after his sexual scandal was exposed. Meanwhile, Richie Ren still need to improve on his Cantonese language because as you see him conversing, his Mandarin slang was still there. Overall, the movie was above average only. Why? I was hoping this Sniper would be about racing against time like Die Hard 3 – Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson or even like 12 Rounds. Since the movie is about Lincoln’s revenge and hatred towards Hartman, why not have him running around trying to threaten him with his daughter?

Well, I think Dante Lam has his mind of it’s own. Wonder what story will I be covering next time around. :)

What happen in May 2 was seriously AWESOME to the max. In just 2 hours and a half, he could ROCK the whole stage and the fans was excited with his performance. This time around, he will be performing with his new electronic guitar also known as the custom-made BAHAMUT ELECTRONIC GUITAR which cost him around US$ 27,500 (RM 96,700) and was design by the Irish guitar master, Alistair. Below is the front and the back view of this AWESOME guitar use by AWESOME music man.

Anyway, back to the concert and amazingly. Lee Hom was a interesting music man and must give him a credit because he can almost play an musical instrument and he is one the most inventive artistes of the Mandarin pop genre. With his latest album released, he is one step further from other singer such like Jay Chou, Fahrenheit, Mayday and so on.

He kicked off the Music Man 2009 tour with 搖滾怎麼了！！What's Wrong With Rock!! Hope the translation never get wrong for this. After that, he finally unleashed the “Bahamut” as what I have shown above which was suspended in the mid-air even before the start of the concert.

The props is so impressive that credit must be given to them which was acted as the stage for the concert. The cinematic and the graphics element were breathtaking. Besides that, on the same stage appeared four Wang Lee Hom. You must be kidding right? Well, seriously there are four similar looking Wang Lee Hom appeared right before the audience. How could that possibly be? Way to impossible. Sorry, no picture for that. Hard to believe without any prove. Bare with it or just ask anyone around that was in the concert. He was appeared on the stage as four different role where the REAL DEAL is the singer, and the rest of the three was bassist, drummer and guitarist. But I am also unsure about him being the singer not the rest. What a Music Man, he later performed his violin prowess before going for the piano.

What else beside the Music Man can do was perform his magic skill. Well, the other three-similar-looking-face-of-Wang Lee Hom come to work. This magic is somehow like a teleport where he was inside a box once and later he disappeared from the box and was reappeared once again together with the audience at the seating of RM268 if I am not wrong about that.

So, the next time he comes to Malaysia, let’s see what he is going to up to that time around. Wonder what could happen? Appearances of EIGHT WANG LEE HOM? :)

By the way, they give free stuff along the way for this concert. All thanks to the Boston-Hongkie F&B Restaurant Chain. Free voucher to eat there. Must taste it somehow and tell you how was it.

After I check out the branches, I only knew that it was super far away from my house. Too bad. But I will try to find a chance to taste it. Don’t worry, full report by me will surely be there.

Salvation For Donuts?

Wonder why donuts have become a trend now in Malaysia. Maybe after watching Simpson? or even Dexter Morgan? You know some of the big giant doughnut company in Malaysia right?

Two giant battle out each other: Big Apple and J.Co Donuts.

So, last Friday which was a Labor Day. I headed down to Times Square which my sisters and brother want to take a break. The first thing we do when we reached there was looking something to bite on for evening teas. So, here we ended up to. Merely open just for five days, the crowded was still there till 10 pm as I am leaving Times Square. Wonder what was that?

Kuspy Kreme or Krispy Kreme?

So, we lining up to get some of this for a try-out. They were working very fast and efficient. Even their manager (if I am not mistaken) was there to supervise their employee. By the way, he is an English dude. So, they also give out some free donuts to try out. As usual, from my past experience with J.Co Donut where they also give out free donut to try out.

Here are some of the donut available. By the way, the donut that they give out was original glazed. Not bad. Quite tasty and sweet.

So, we brought two box. That is a combo yea. One of the box was only with the original glazed donuts and the another box is your choice. So, we took the picture with my handphone this time around. No longer steal picture. Maybe I did steal some picture.

The variety box. The available variety include – From far left: Chocolate Almond Glazed, Glazed Cruller, Hershey Cookie Glazed, Green Tea, Powdered Strawberry Filled, Cookie Glazed and Chocolate Iced Glazed.

The first bite on the Original Glazed while enjoying on the seats. Inside was just like normal bread dough. But outside was cover with frost sugar. All around the donut.

The Powdered with Strawberry Fillings. If you planning to try this, go ahead. But for me, it just like a normal bread spread with strawberry jams.

The one that is different from any other donut on the list would be this. “Glazed Cruller”. It’s very crunchy. Maybe too much flour or this is the characteristic. And it has the same type with original glazed donuts but the only difference is the frost sugar fall only on one side. Below shows a different angle of the Glazed Cruller.

The rest was eaten by my brother and sisters. So, the rest need you to try it out yourself. And I heard from my sister that who be the first customer to purchase the product from Krispy Kreme will receive a ONE YEAR LONG SUPPLY OF DONUTS. Wonder what will happen if I won the supply? So, the man that won the supply was camp outside the cafe for two nights. He deserve to win it.

Some of the drinks available: Mocha and Vanilla. But the Mocha taste a bit different from StarBucks.

If I am not mistaken, there will be another branch opening very soon at MidValley. I think the competition be the stiff and tough at MidValley because the J.Co is there as well.

[Review] X-Men Origins: Wolverine

The movie was seriously AWESOME and more ACTION and HUMOUR inside. Here is the plot based on what I have seen in the theater today.

James Howlett/Logan heard a gunfire during a dispute at his father’s estate, and went on to investigate. His father was lying on the floor there. Young James later become fierce and suddenly there are claw coming out from his hand. He run to the man that he think who kill his father and stab him with his claw. Young Howlett later found out that the man that he just stab with his claw was his biological dad. He couldn’t accept the truth. He escape the estate and run through the forest. His half brother, Victor Creed chase him in the forest and later, they sworn to look out for each other’s back.

As time goes by, they are now adult and become soldier for the country. They were sentences to death by firing squad after decapitating a senior officer, but they were immune to shot. This brings Colonel William Stryker attention to assemble a special force, Team X. This team consists of Logan, Victor Creed, Wade Wilson/Deadpool, John Wraith, David North/Zero, Fred Dukes/Blob and Chris Bradley/Bolt. The team had their first mission in Lagos, Nigeria where Stryker believe they have Adamantium. Each and everyone of them show off their skill as being ordered by Stryker.

The first one to begin is Agent Zero. He is the one with the ability of accuracy and shooting. Next was, Dukes. He stop the tank from firing missile with his hand. After that, Bolt proves that he can run electricity with his mind and move up the elevator. Wade was the next to perform his skill with his katana sword. He reflect all the firing bullet shot by the bad guys. Lastly was Wraith. He can teleport to the boss before the boss could do anything about it. After knowing that the Adamantium was located in a small village three days from their current location. They move on to the small village. The people telling that the stone was from the sky. Stryker told the squad to eliminate everyone there. Wolverine refuses and leave the squad.

Six year later, he was at Canada with his love interest Kayla. (btw, she is a mutant as well). They live there very peaceful and lovely. Meanwhile, at Springfield, Ohio, Bolt who leave the team and work as a normal human in a circus and trying to earn money by challenging people to switch off the light. After that, Victor found him and kill him. Back in the live of lovely and peaceful for Logan, Stryker and Zero come and find Logan and ask him to rejoin the group and take down the one that murder both Wade and Bradley. He refuse and turn down the offer. One of these day, Victor seek out Kayla and murder Wolverine’s love interest (she did not die until the very end of the movie). Wolverine found her dead body and sworn to revenge for her. He seek out Victor and they fought against each other and result was Victor walk away with victory.

The next day, he was at the hospital and he meet up with Stryker once again and hope that Logan join them. Stryker offer a special weapon for Logan. Logan accept the offer and undergo the reformation. Adamantium was the power that been use to insert into Logan’s brain and made him a full-metal. This project has a name that call as Weapon X. One joke about this: Why X? and Stryker answer with X as in represent 10 in Roman numerical. I was like WTF? Next thing was he know that he is being cheated and run away from this laboratory naked!!! (Hugh Jackman naked for this film and Malaysia never cut it? WTF) and run to a farm and meet two good people.

After that, he was been invited to a dinner with the people. The next morning, the old man asking him to try to ride the chopper. Then, come in the old lady with some cookie. Before she could continue with the cookie, she was shoot to death straight to the heart. The old man as well die in a single shoot. Zero pull the trigger and hit the two innocent life. Logan run away with the chopper and kill Zero along the way. Next thing, Logan meet up with Wraith and Blob at Wraith training ground. Logan know about the island that filled up with young mutants. Blob tell Logan about one of the man who escape from the island. Guess who? GAMBIT.

During meet up with Gambit, Logan fought Victor again but this time, Logan win. After that, Logan and Gambit travel under the plane that Gambit won to the island. Logan arrive at the island and found Stryker finishing the Weapon XI/Deadpool/Wade Wilson. After that, he once again fought with Victor and this time he knocked him out. By the way, Kayla was here again telling the truth that she is a mutant. Together with Kayla, they released all the young mutants which include Kayla niece and Cyclops, young Storm, Quiksilver, Toad and the rest.

Stryker unleashed Deadpool and face Wolverine. Kayla bring the rest to another exit. Deadpool later being killed with his head being chopped off by Logan. He later saved Kayla who was injured. Suddenly, a gunshot that contain Adamantium bullet and shot right at Logan’s head. This made him lost his memory. The young mutant follow Charles Xavier and leave to the Academy. Kayla die and Logan don’t remember a single thing. So sad :( Wait. What happen to Stryker. Oh well, before Kayla die, she hypnotize Stryker and ask him to walk until his leg bleed. He was caught later by some soldier regarding to the General’s death.

Here is my review about this show. This show was one of the awesome action pack besides Watchmen. The action inside the movie was quite thrilling and moreover, this movie is how Wolverine end up joining the X-Men? So what happen to the others? The young mutant joined up with Prof. Xavier at the Academy. Meanwhile, Wolverine should be joining the Academy very soon. So, is Deadpool really dead? Based on what I have seen and read about Deadpool, he was a Weapon XI, just like Logan, he got the power to heal himself. But after decapitated him, wonder how he going to glue his head back to his body? We going to miss the comedian act of Wade Wilson who keep on non-stop talking craps that seriously piss Logan off his head.

According to a source, the movie has three different ending but is the source reliable? Based on the ending that I saw in the cinema, it was about Logan lost his memories and Kayla dead. I can’t find a single point to end the movie. Should they end the movie in different ending, here is my guess.

Logan was carry Kayla and about to leave to a peaceful place. Stryker sneak from behind and open fire the adamantium bullet. Logan miss all the six shot from the revolver. Logan put Kayla down and knock-out Stryker. But, from the prequel and the second sequel, both are acted by different people. From what I have seen in both movie. Stryker in the film look much more older with white hair compare to X-Men 2. So, how would the ideal Stryker looks like? Is the hair grey or black? Is he wearing any spectacles? No idea about it. Here is the comic-version of William Stryker.
The another ending would be Kayla and Logan live peaceful and Stryker will never forget about it. But too bad, this ending will never happen. Why? If you watch the movie or animation, he seriously do not remember anything about the past. Why? He forgot every about his past. So, if he wasn’t being shot in the head, then how come he could forget about the past?

Sorry for my illogical thinking skill. Wonder how would be the ending? I was curious to know about the other ending. Well, hope the other ending would be much better than this. Seriously, want to separate the lovebirds? So cruel. If I were the director, Stryker is so-gone case. But he is one of the main villain for Wolverine. Damn. Sacrifice the lover instead.

Other than that, I love Gambit so much. His skill was admired by most of the people around me. Well, the action was interesting and the comedian, Wade Wilson impress me the most. The jokes of Stryker about Weapon X give me the laugh the most. Therefore, I must say that this movie is worth to watch it. For the month of May, this was suppose to be the Top 3. What you waiting for? Go reserve a ticket now and watch it tomorrow with your friends. Not recommended for couple.

Official Launch is coming up within the next few days. Remember the date “May 1”. I have already post it up as a reminder on my another blog which is Hard-CORE Memoirs. Click here to view my another blog. So, here is my review on some of the things that I have seen so far. Previously, I have told you that the first task will be three items which is:

Let’s start with the food review. The restaurant was located Federal Bowl and it is opposite to the Low Yat Plaza. Well, this place can be said full of bookings even you wanted to book one week later have left only few place. How can this be possible? Sure it does. Many people want to try new stuff and want to know how good was the food. If you have tried out Jogoya, Tenji and Sasaki, this may be new thing for you because this would be a Barbeque buffet.

You cook and you eat what you cook for. That’s was one of the theme there. The variety of food was less there because the space of the restaurant was quite limited. Unlike Jogoya and Tenji, where they have a lot of space for customer. Beside BBQ, there are other variety such as Sashimi, Sushi, Tempura, Chinese Delicacies, Ice Cream (not from Hagen Daaz), and few to be name.

Well, for the BBQ, you may order from the set menu. Some of the best selection from the menu would be Mochi-Mochi, Chicken Slice and Lamb. If you don’t like the list on the set menu. Why not go to the raw food site which located near the Desert side and try out the by choosing the food that you would like to BBQ. The choice is quite limited. Just to name a few would be – Meatball, Seafood Tofu, Prawn, Marinated Chicken, Lamb and Beef and etc.

Next would be the beverage side, the coconut drink was reload faster than Jogoya and Tenji. Why? Because you just ask from them and they will open up for you instantly. Unlike Jogoya and Tenji, they will place it nicely and wait for the customer to take. But after everything was taken, it would take them 5-10 minutes to place them back again. Yaki-Yaki deserve a point here.

Alright, while waiting for the food that you order to arrive, here are some other option for you to get a bite on it. Tempura is the name. Yaki Yaki was one of the fastest to replenish the Tempura. According to the generous employee there, they told me to come back every five minutes for the Tempura. Well, I go there every five minutes to get some of the tempura. Seriously, they taste really nice when it is still hot together with the sauce. Excellent! :)

Beside that, you can request for Temaki Roll. Four different type – California, Abalone (you hear me, ABALONE), Prawn and Salmon. I have tried out all the four and one thing is for sure. Never try Abalone. XD.

After watching BBQ, did it tempt you to go eat? Somehow it did tempt me to eat. Goosh!! Need to get the tempura on my mouth again. Love it so much. To be honest, the only best food there would be Tempura. Must eat a lot there.

Beside BBQ, the desert is one thing that must be try-out as well. One of them was Coconut Milk Lychee Jelly and another one is semi-circular jelly which I forgot the name. A picture to show you.

“Well, as what Evan said, the food are perfectly fine and taste really very good. The only problem there is the environment is too dark and too stuff when you had a BBQ. I seriously agree with Evan that the tempura was AWESOME. But the only problem is we cannot take picture. If not, we won’t have to use other people’s work.”

Next would be one of the current game in computer world that is very hot. Yes. I must agree that L4D was fun because of the sense of horror that sometimes freak me out. Oh well, this game still lack of graphic that is more towards perfect but overall it was fun. If you don’t know the game, let me brief you about it.

4 survivor are fighting their way to survive and the only way to survive would be by going to against all the zombies a.k.a infected one. There are some mini-boss zombie inside the game

“The game was AWESOME but Evan keep saying that the game doesn’t feel good. I know why he say so. He is scared of the horror flick. Oh well, my rating here is based on presentation, graphics, sound and gameplay. I will rate from 1 to 10. Let’s start with the first one.

Great game. Recommended for those who doesn’t faint easily like the host here. Gosh, once you play this game, somehow you won’t feel bored about it and want to continue to play. Trust me, get this game tonight if you haven’t have the game.
